KCS is a system of independent Christian schools serving communities across Alberta, Canada. Koinonia Christian Schools work together to provide children with a Christ-centered, academically excellent education using direct, classroom instruction and provincially accredited curriculum. Some schools also have a homeschool division for families who need or desire it.
Member schools abide by a set of common Core Policies, including an evangelical Statement of Faith, and Koinonia provides encouragement, guidance, training, and employment benefits through its Executive Director and central office.
Koinonia Christian Education Society exists to assist parents in the Christian education of their children towards spiritual and academic excellence through the establishment and maintenance of Christian schools.
