High Level Christian Academy
High Level Christian
Academy is the result of
concerned parents who had deep convictions about Christian Education.
It was evident that the Lord had His hand on this mission
from the very beginning. It has been an exciting time that has
required faith and direction from the Lord.
A steering committee was formed on September 26,1991. A survey of
parents clearly indicated
interest in beginning a Christian school.
A planning
committee held its first meeting on February 12, 1992 and with
suggestions from the Association Christian Schools International (ACSI),
the committee became members of the Koinonia Christian Education
Society (KCES). This society recommended that a school board be
elected and this was
achieved on May 6, 1992.
On September 8,
1992, the High Level Christian Academy opened its doors to 42
students from kindergarten to grade seven, sharing facilities with
the High Level Evangelical Church.
The vision for a dedicated school facility led the society to
construct its own building in 1998. On September 14, 1998, the High
Level Christian Academy opened its new school facility on a five
acre land site in the Town of High Level. This has been made
possible through God's working in people's hearts. The new facility
houses students from kindergarten to grade nine.
